Active Threat Awareness Week™

Background: In 2004, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) launched National Preparedness Month (NPM) which takes place every September. The goal of NPM is to help educate the public on how to prepare for emergencies by making plans, building kits, etc. To spotlight the focus on maintaining situational awareness and developing a survival mindset, A-Train Tactical, LLC is introducing the last seven days of September as Active Threat Awareness Week.

Goal: Raise awareness by empowering individuals and organizations to take action and be prepared for active threats.

Theme: The theme for Active Threat Awareness Week is: Take Action, Be Prepared™.

Call to Action: We invite businesses dedicated to providing public safety solutions to join us in making our communities safer. During Active Threat Awareness Week, increase awareness and build working relationships by donating free training, products, and/or services to an organization who can benefit. Share your experience with us and we will highlight it below.
